Crash Through are an indie rock band from Sydney, Australia that have been creating their own unique mix of bluesy, folky and psychedelic music since 2008. They like things that don't sound obvious, and prefer exploration over a sensible adherence to genre.
As a point of sonic reference, they listen to a lot of Hendrix, The Drones, John Coltrane, You Am I and a lot of a similar ilk, though they definitely follow their own path. There's no grand plan for world domination, just a desire to create records that sound like music they want to listen to but can't find amongst more conventional bands. They've played everywhere from The Metro to the Coogee Bay to The Annandale to Goulburn Workers Club, have two CD's out on iTunes & Spotify, and would love to fill your ears with sound. They can't see why they shouldn't have a 3 minute pop song yelled, followed by an improvised ten minute guitar instrumental. In their world, this is the most popular form of music.
Their second album, "The Lure Of Incandescence" is out now.
